Solicitation #24-3733-3608. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Monday, May 27, 2024 at 3:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes to furnish/provide collection and disposal services for various debris from Newport News Creek. Debris may be floating, suspended, or deposited in and along the shoreline or rip rap of Newport News Creek, as identified inside the red outlined area in displayed in Attachment A of this RFQ.
