Official description
Solicitation #27-0340-3017. Issued by Parks and Recreation. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Monday, October 5, 2026 at 5:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to furnish/provide event staffing services for special events scheduled throughout the year for the Department of Parks and Recreation. The Department reserves the right to add and remove events, event services and site location as needed.
