Solicitation #24-2483-4708. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 3:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide ballistic glass installation to meet Level 1 ballistic criteria for Newport News Juvenile Court located at 2501 Huntington Avenue, Newport News. VA 23607. The City of Newport News would like to enhance the security and safety of our facilities by implementing protective measures against ballistic threats.
