Solicitation #24-2281-5600. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Friday, December 15, 2023 at 4:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Unsealed Request for Proposals (URFP) is to solicit proposals to furnish/provide four (4) Mini Flat Rides – two (2) that spin and two (2) that move side to side, for the Winter Carnival event to be held Saturday, February 3, 2024; produced by the City of Newport News Parks and Recreation Department, Special Events and Promotions Division.
