Solicitation #23-3219-6255. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 2:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a term Contract for the provision of bulbs, ballasts and a variety of other electrical equipment and supplies, on an 'as needed' basis to the City's Department of Public Works. The City is looking to enter into a Contract with one or more qualified contractor(s) to provide these products.
