Official description
Solicitation #23-3228-4755. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 3:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide all materials, equipment, transportation and labor necessary for preventive maintenance services and reactive repair services on an ‘as requested’ basis for approximately one hundred sixty-seven (167) overhead doors, as listed in Attachment A. The City reserves the right to add and/or delete overhead doors as necessary.
