Solicitation #23-2334-5500. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Friday, December 9, 2022 at 5:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes to furnish/provide a Toyota Model 40-8FGU32 forklift. The Toyota Model (40-8FGU32) model forklift has been found to meet the needs of the work environment for which it is being purchased. Other makes and models will be considered, if within the specifications provided in solicitation. An on-site demonstration would be required for another make or model to be accepted.
