Landscape and turf maintenance services

Solicitation #23-2179-3056. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Friday, January 27, 2023 at 5:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to furnish/provide Landscape & Turf Maintenance Services for project sites located throughout the City for the Department of Parks & Recreation (City). Offerors may submit proposals for all or some of the sites included in the Pricing Proposal section Cost Schedules. The City reserves the right to remove or add sites and/or services during the contract period as necessary. The future successful Contractor(s) shall provide landscape maintenance services, install landscape plants/materials as may be requested, and furnish all equipment, labor, supervision, permits, insurance, industry certifications, traffic control, signage, personal protective equipment (PPE) for each worker, and other incidentals necessary to complete various landscaping tasks assigned during the period and renewal options as specified.
