Official description
Solicitation #23-2072-3056. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 5:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified firms with restaurant management experience to lease and operate an approximately 5,400 square-foot full-service restaurant/grill located at 901 Clubhouse Way, Newport News, VA 23608, and to meet the following minimum requirements outlined in this RFP. Through this solicitation and subsequent lease of the restaurant facility, the City desires to provide opportunity to a commercial enterprise that will support golfers and special events at the course through high-quality food service and drinks.
