Official description
Solicitation #23-1475-3056. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 3:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide the City of Newport News “City” with portable toilets and servicing for various City departments at various locations and events throughout the City. Goods and services are to include portable toilets, handwashing stations and baby changing stations for special events and emergencies where permanent restrooms are not available. Bidder shall also clean/service units and perform necessary repairs to damaged units in a timely manner.
