Solicitation #23-1090-4725. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Friday, August 12, 2022 at 3:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide suspension repair and alignment services for medium, heavy duty, and large emergency vehicles such as a fire apparatus (GVWR over 12,000lbs). Currently, the City has over 222 vehicles that fall in those categories..
