Official description
Solicitation #23-1126-3625. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 3:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide a self-service, food-quality ice and filtered/purified water vending machine, delivered and set-up at Menchville Marina, located 524 Menchville Road South, in the City of Newport News, Virginia. The City of Newport News desires to make on-site, food-quality ice available in support of this important seafood industry, and offer the surrounding public ice/water vending options. The machine will be equipped with a generator interface that can provide ice and water during natural disasters.
