Solicitation #22-3576-6255. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 2:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide an automated gravimetric water meter test bench system for the Newport News Waterworks. The system shall be fully automated and able to test water meters ranging in sizes from 5/8 inch x 3/4 inch, 1 inch, 1-1/2 inch and 2 inch.
