Solicitation #26-1987-3103. Issued by Waterworks. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide five (5) complete actuator, control, and battery backup systems that will retrofit onto existing 24” ball valves, to the City's Waterworks Department.
