Solicitation #26-1259-3003. Issued by Parks and Recreation. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 3:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide fungicides and herbicides for the department of Parks and Recreation. The intent of this IFB is to establish a multi-term contract for the purchase of specified items on an as-needed basis throughout the year. Similar items may be added to the contract and/or removed as needed. Other City departments may utilize the established contract as needed throughout the term(s) of the contract.
