Solicitation #26-0838-0800. Issued by Parks and Recreation. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 2:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes to furnish and install approximately 271 upholstered opera theatre seats and aisle lighting for the Ella Fitzgerald Theater at Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center, and remove and dispose of the currently installed seating and lighting.
