Solicitation #25-3445-0508. Issued by Parks and Recreation. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 3:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide a qualified company to provide all the labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform temporary electrical hookups and disconnects, diagnose issues and make repairs as described in these specifications for the City’s annual “Celebration in Lights” event.
