Solicitation #22-2901-3356. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 2:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide provide professional electrical services for miscellaneous maintenance, repairs, and installations at various athletic fields and facilities. Service shall include installations, modifications, replacements, repairs and maintenance as requested by the City. Work shall be performed on a time and materials basis according to rates provided.
