Solicitation #22-2718-3625. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 3:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes to furnish/provide and install “Color enhanced” Walnut (dark brown) dyed double-shredded hardwood mulch to landscape beds and individual plant collars at five (5) City sites.
