Architectural and engineering services on-call contracts

Solicitation #22-2650-2031. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Consultant”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 5:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to furnish/provide professional architectural and engineering services on an on-call basis. to establish multi-term agreements for the following professional services groups: Architectural; Mechanical; Electrical (MEP); Structural; and associated Construction Administration Services. It is the intent of the City to select at least one Offeror for each service category. At the discretion of the City, based on the results of the proposal evaluation process, an Offeror may be considered qualified and selected to provide services under multiple service categories. The annual services contract will not guarantee the successful Offeror(s) a specified dollar value of work or limit the City’s right to seek proposals and award other Professional Architectural and Engineering Services to firm(s) other than the selected Offeror(s) for this annual services contract. The City reserves the right to make multiple awards from this solicitation and/or utilize other providers for Professional Architectural and Engineering Services. This contract replaces existing Professional Services Annual Contracts held by the Department of Engineering EXCEPT: Bridge Inspections; Geotechnical; Surveying; Traffic Systems; and Environmental and Lake Maintenance. Selection for this contract will not preclude selection for any individual contract that may be released for proposals.
