Solicitation #25-3316-6208. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 5:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor(s) for the provision of administration services for the City's group medical and prescription drug insurance programs for eligible active employees, COBRA continuants, pre-65 retirees, and City Council Members of the City, as well as reinsurance for the programs.
