Official description
Solicitation #22-2512-3356. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 5:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to furnish/provide materials, equipment, warranty, labor, permits ad supervision for the planting of trees, shrubs, ground covers and turf grass for various projects located throughout the City of Newport News. The successful Contractor(s) shall provide and install landscape plants/materials, and furnish all equipment, labor, supervision, permits, industry certifications, traffic control, signage, personal protective equipment (PPE) for each worker, and other incidentals necessary to complete various landscape projects during the period and renewal options as specified.
