Solicitation #25-2646-3100. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 11:00 am (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes to furnish/provide Rolling Double Disc Seated Gate Valve, J&S Valve Model #7808, or approved equal. Any approved equal must receive prior approval from the Waterworks Department before the award. Specifications for the approved equal should be submitted along with the quote.
