Solicitation #25-0529-6231. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 2:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a term contract with one or more qualified Contractors for the provision of various forms and types of sand on an ‘as needed basis’ to the City’s Departments of Water Works and Public Works, in accordance with the specifications of this IFB.
