Solicitation #24-3983-0800. Issued by Office of Purchasing. The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 2:00 pm (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes to furnish/provide programmable ID badge cards and related supplies including 35-bit Corporate 1000 or Corporate 1000 formatted cards, customizable lanyards, sleeves, printer ribbons, and other badge supplies. Prox cards must be 35-bit programmable cards in Corporate 1000 format that will work on existing HID readers and be printable from the Fargo DTC4500e printer.
