Architectural design services for community and cultural center

Issued by City Manager's Office. The City of Rancho Cordova, City Manager's Office Department is soliciting request for proposals for architectural firms or consultant teams to provide architectural, engineering, programming, specialty design, cost estimating, and related professional services for schematic design of a new community and cultural center campus. The City is advancing an adaptive reuse project that will transform an existing two-building office campus into a community destination supporting arts and culture, community gathering, education, technology and innovation, nonprofit collaboration, and other public-serving uses. Preliminary planning and feasibility work has established the City's overall vision, potential program, existing building conditions, and initial test fits. The City is now seeking a multidisciplinary design team to advance this work through schematic design. The selected consultant will work closely with City staff, existing project consultants, technical experts, community stakeholders, and potential programming and operating partners to validate the program and develop a coordinated, feasible, and cost-informed schematic design.
