Kiwanis Park Trail and Constructed Wetlands

Solicitation #S-9-26. Issued by Purchasing. The City of Cheyenne requests bids from qualified contractors for the Kiwanis Park Trail and Constructed Wetlands Project. Kiwanis Park is a 105+/- acre site located at the southwest corner of Pershing Blvd and Whitney Rd. Major work items include construction of new wetlands, new pedestrian gravel trails with interpretive signage, installation of new gravel bird blind pads and foundations for future bird blinds, and a variety of reseeding restoration associated with the new wetlands and trails. The scope of work also includes refinements to the existing parking lot for ADA accessibility and removal and installation of new fencing in the lower portion of the park. No work shall be performed south of the existing fence located on site after May 30th and before July 16 th due to an annual closure for bird nesting. It is at the Contractors discretion to begin work prior to July 16th. No additional allowance for mobilization will be allowed.
