Solicitation #IFB 26-07. Issued by Public Works - Capital Development. The City of Charlottesville is requesting bids for IFB 26-07 for Meadowcreek Golf Course Irrigation System. Project Description: The successful bidder will provide, as a Base Bid, a complete irrigation system for all eighteen (18) holes, including irrigation for the putting practice green, chipping practice green, and practice range tee; a new central control system, decoders, and associated surge protection and wiring; and sprinklers, quick couplers, valves, and associated pipe network. The City of Charlottesville owns and operates Meadowcreek Golf Course, an 18-hole golf course located within the City. Established in 1974, the 155 acre course was initially designed by the late and noted golf course architect Raymond F. Loving, a Fellow in the American Society of Golf Course Architects. This project is to replace the existing irrigation system with a new system.
