Reference #PAC/27. Description: -BID REQUEST- Please submit a bid for furnishing POWDERED ACTIVATED CARBON, over a one-year period (January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027) with an option to extend one additional year (to December 31, 2028) by the City. The price for the item will be fixed over the period. -QUESTIONS- Any questions about the meaning and intent of this invitation to bid and the specifications must be submitted via Bonfire Q&A no later than three business days before the Bid submission deadline. Questions received after the deadline may not be answered. Only questions answered in this method are binding. Oral or written interpretations and clarifications not following this method will be without any legal effect. Interpretations, clarifications or any addenda deemed necessary by the City will be posted to https://akronohio.bonfirehub.com/ under the related open project. It is your responsibility to monitor this site. By submitting your bid, you represent that you are familiar with any interpretations, clarifications and addenda that have been posted by the City. Persons with disabilities needing assistance should contact Human Resources (as soon as possible or at least 7 days in advance of a scheduled event) (on the official posting). Project closes Oct 12, 2026 2:00 PM EDT.
