Public Notice. Agency solicitation #RFP2027-007. Issued by City of Gaithersburg. Category: Structures and Building and Construction and Manufacturing Components and Supplies. The City of Gaithersburg is seeking proposals for the construction of the Rabbitt Road Stream and Vegetative Buffer Restoration project located on City of Gaithersburg property adjacent to 800 Rabbitt Road, Department of Public Works facility, in Montgomery County, Maryland. This project will be constructed in seven (7) phases on Long Draught Branch for a length of approximately 1,478 linear feet, with an additional 619 linear feet of construction at four (4) stormwater outfall channels that enter Long Draught Branch. The upstream portion of the project begins to the northwest of Seneca Village Apartments and runs downstream to a culvert at Rabbitt Road where the project ends. In addition to plant installation for final stabilization of access areas, this project includes planting of approximately 0.4-acre for an expanded riparian buffer along the southwest side of the channel, east of Rudis Way. The Contractor shall construct the project according to the seven (7) phased construction sequence, including Final Stabilization, as specified in the design plans and outlined in section 2.4.
