Official description

Educational materials, including displays, posters and demonstration tools for various contraceptive methods. Item 1 (785-44 Displays, Educational: Kits, Models, Plaques, etc.): Contraceptive Display - See RFQ - Freestanding, folding display featuring 3-dimensional anatomical models and informational panels with facts regarding use and efficacy of various birth control methods multiple birth control methods. The display must be fully self-contained and either come with a travel case or have a travel case integrated into the display structure. Explained birth control methods must include, but are not limited to hormone control pill (progestin only), fertility awareness-based, external condom, spermicide or vaginal sponge, internal condom, withdrawal, shot (progestin only), patch (estrogen and progestin), pill (estrogen and progestin), ring (estrogen and progestin), mini pill (progestin only), vaginal contraceptive gel, diaphragm or cervical cap, implant, IUD, non-hormonal copper IUD, tubal ligation, and vasectomy. Item 2 (785-44 Displays, Educational: Kits, Models, Plaques, etc.): Contraceptive Options Tool - See RFQ - Handheld demonstration tool that has attached accurate, life-size examples or representations of multiple birth control methods, including but not limited to hormonal birth control pills, hormonal birth control patch, hormonal birth control ring, birth control shot, hormonal birth control implant, hormonal IUD, copper IUD, internal (female) condom, and external (male) condom. The tool must be suitable for repeated use and use in a wide variety of settings. Demonstrated birth control methods must be able to be removed and re-attached as needed, with no tools. Item 3 (785-44 Displays, Educational: Kits, Models, Plaques, etc.): Contraceptive Effectiveness Poster (English) - See RFQ - Approximately 18 inch x 24 inch laminated poster that categorizes and explains various birth control methods by efficacy and frequency of administration/method of use. The patient's likelihood of pregnancy in a given year, using each method of displayed contraceptive, must also be displayed in an easy-to-understand format. Explained birth control methods must include, but are not limited to, withdrawal method, fertility awareness/tracking, internal (female) condom, external (male) condom, hormonal birth control bill, hormonal birth control patch, hormonal birth control ring, birth control shot, implant, hormonal IUD, copper IUD, and sterilization. Must be suitable for use in a clinical, school, educational, or public health setting.
