Concrete and asphalt cutting and drilling services

Solicitation #ITB# TR0-6760. Issued by FAS - Purchasing. The City of Seattle seeks to establish a pool of qualified vendors to provide asphalt and concrete cutting and drilling services for City departments. Services will be performed on an as-needed basis to support small projects and time-sensitive work across the City. Work may include, but is not limited to, core drilling, wall sawing, slab sawing of asphalt and concrete, curb and gutter cutting, and related surface cutting activities necessary to support utility work, maintenance, and repairs. Services may be performed in interior or exterior locations, within the public right-of-way or on City-owned property, and during standard business hours, with limited after-hours or emergency response as needed. Vendors shall provide the specialized labor, equipment, and expertise required to safely and efficiently perform cutting and drilling operations in compliance with applicable City standards and regulatory requirements. The City has previously held a contract for Concrete and Asphalt Cutting and Drilling with Mamaril Enterprises LLC dba Precision Concrete Cutting & Drilling (City of Seattle Blanket Contract 3580), which resulted from ITB CTY-3580 in 2016. In 2025, the City spent approximately $900,000 on this contract. Most individual orders averaged $2,200 with some as orders as high as $25,000. The primary users of this contract were Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) and Seattle City Light (SCL). Future contracts may be used by any City department.
