Architectural design services for monorail station reconfiguration

Solicitation #SC-2024-08. Issued by Seattle Center. The City of Seattle is seeking qualifications for Architectural Design and Engineering Services for the Seattle Center Monorail Station Reconfiguration project. Qualifications are due no later than 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. The purpose of this solicitation is to retain the services of a qualified consultant team led by an architectural firm with a proven record of delivering inspired design solutions and the qualifications necessary to achieve the project goals within the framework of a negotiated construction contract in the public realm. The consultant will provide complete design and engineering services, from Schematic Design through Project Closeout. The design will include seamlessly integrated accessibility solutions as well as modifications and additions that rejuvenate the station while being sensitive to the historic nature of the facility. The consultant will participate in preconstruction activities with the client and GC/CM; produce milestone documents for pricing and the final construction documents; lead the permit process; and provide construction administration services through project closeout. This project is anticipated to be federally, and state funded, in part, through the Federal Transit Administration.
