Sewer and water construction services

Solicitation #2024-MPW-536. Issued by Procurement and Contract Division. Refer to attached bid packet. The purpose of this Bid is to secure the services of a construction contractor specializing in the field of Sewer, Sanitation and Water Construction Services on an as needed and emergency basis. No minimum contract amount is promised. The work will be assigned by Pierce County by purchase order number, addressing scope of work and required time of completion. Work shall be performed in accordance with any product manufacturer’s technical specifications and industry best practices. Work locations are throughout Pierce County. Contractors must have the capability to service the County by providing material, labor and all necessary equipment. Ability to provide full construction and repair services. Due to the difficulty in determining the actual work required under the Contract, the Contractor and/or subcontractor shall not be limited to the common services as required but shall be inclusive to all the services the Contractor provides related to construction services. Work includes but is not limited to: sewer repairs, by-pass sewer pumping services, sewer construction, water line repairs, water leak investigations, general layout work; performing air, infiltration and exfiltration tests; channeling manholes; installing steps, concrete encasements, anchor assemblies and thrust blocks; repairs and installations of manholes, manhole frames and covers, gravity sewer mainlines, cleanouts, lamp holes, septic tank repairs, drain field installation and repairs, siphons, distribution boxes, diffusers, pretreatment devices, catch basins and force main repairs; flagging services, general residential and commercial plumbing maintenance and repairs.
