Official description
Solicitation #2023-RFQ-245. Issued by Parks and Recreation. Pierce County is interested in entering into an agreement with a qualified entity for the design, financing, construction and operation of guest facilities ancillary to the Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Washington. Development in the ground lease area would include, but not be limited to, a restaurant, pro-shop, banqueting and meeting space, with the option of including lodging. These facilities would be owned and operated by the respondent. In addition, respondent would manage the County-owned golf course, turn stand, and practice facilities through a companion operations agreement.
