Door and gate maintenance and services

Solicitation #2023-RFP-185. Issued by Procurement and Contract Division. The Doors, Overhead Doors, And Gates Maintenance & Services RFP is a competitively-procured, “Two Tier” contracting program administered by Pierce County, Procurement and Contract Services (PCS) in which qualified Vendors provide the services defined in this RFP to Pierce County Departments and Divisions (user department). Pierce County’s objective is to develop a fast, efficient method that user department can use to get on-call and scheduled services providers assigned and working. This RFP seeks to accomplish that by awarding multiple Master Services Agreement to a selection of contractors, who will complete all the necessary paperwork once, at the start of the contract, so when a project arises the user departments can quickly request quotes, issue a project purchase order (PO) and start the contractor on-site for the job. This is considered a purchase service contract and will require the payment of prevailing wages. This is not considered a public works contract. The requested services are primarily maintenance in nature. Requested repairs (emergency and non-emergency) will not exceed $30,000 in total costs. Repairs which cost more than $30,000 will be bid out separately. There is no upper limit for maintenance services under these contracts.
