Clear Creek flood gate replacement construction

Solicitation #2022-MPW-072. Issued by Procurement and Contract Division. The successful bidder will be responsible for construction of the Clear Creek Flood Gate Replacement Project, D227. Work shall be completed in 60 working days following the Notice to Proceed and material procurement period. The onsite Construction window is expected to be between July 2023 through September 2023. This contract provides for the improvement of an existing flood control facility located at the confluence of Clear Creek and the Puyallup River. The work includes temporary traffic control subject to lane closure restrictions, installation of temporary river/stream isolation and bypass system, demolition, and removal of existing flood control structures, including concrete and a wooden flap gate. The work also includes installation of a new concrete platform and headwall, installation of a new motorized, top-hinge, slide gate, the modification to an existing slide gate, all electrical and mechanical components including metal work, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
