Official description
Solicitation #2024-RFP-719. Issued by Planning and Public Works. The County (hereafter known as 'the County') is soliciting Request for Proposals from individuals or firms interested in providing planning services. The consultant will support County staff in the development of a Solid Waste System Master Plan with an emphasis on food waste diversion, establishment of Material Recovery Facilities (MRF’s), and rail service for solid waste long-hauling. This plan will include the current state of the system as well as future infrastructure and planning needs to help achieve our overall goals of sustainability, resiliency, and equity.
