Special Facilities and Sole Source Procurement Exemption with an estimated value of $500,000 for Flygt pumps and replacement parts and oversight of installation work performed by County employees. Flygt brand pumps and parts are the only components compatible with the existing wastewater systems. The vendor is the sole source distributor of Flygt pumps and parts. The support included in this procurement exemption does not include maintenance or repair work, which will be performed by County staff. The vendor will be performing oversight of County employees only.
Vendors who wish to protest this procurement exemption must describe how they can provide the required services and proprietary components or suitable alternative with matching specifications.
