Official description
Solicitation #24-004-CAP-FM. Issued by Human Services. Pierce County is seeking organizations to provide increased access to nutritious food products through the start-up or expansion of local farmer’s markets benefiting Pierce County communities or neighborhoods that either lack a farmer's market or are experiencing food insecurities. One or more qualified organizations shall be competitively selected from this Request for Proposals (RFP).
For this competition, the County estimates a total of $200,000.00 will be available for a 17-month period from August 1, 2024, through December 31, 2025. Additional federal, State, or local funds may become available during the contracting cycle and allocated through this RFP. Funding may only be awarded for the same scope of services as described in this RFP.
