Official description
Sealed Bids for the construction of the West Burke Village Wastewater Project will be received by the Town of Burke, at the office of the Town of Burke, 212 School Street, West Burke, VT 05871, until 2:00 PM local time on November 5, 2026 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read in the Town Office. The Project consists of 5,600 lf of 2” HDPE sewer force main, connection of 27 properties to the force main through package tank pump stations, construction of two subsurface drip disposal fields, pavement restoration, and miscellaneous work, testing, and cleanup. Special instructions: Bidding Documents also may be examined the office of the Town of Burke, 212 School Street, West Burke, 05871, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM; and the office of the Engineer, Dufresne Group, 481 Summer Street, Suite 8, St. Johnsbury, VT 05851, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on October 22, 2026, at Town of Burke, 212 School Street, West Burke, 05871.
