Solicitation #RFP-202272. Issued by Parks & Recreation. Purpose: The City of Winchester is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide labor, materials, equipment, transportation and quality control and management for: The purpose of this RFP is to employ concessions vendors to provide concessions at two City park locations. 1.) Outdoor Pool – Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, 7 days per week Noon-6 p.m., optional openings in the evening for private rentals and special events. 2.) Familyland – April 1 – October 31 – hours are open for discussion. This Request for Proposal (RFP), plus the resulting agreement, shall be consistent with, and governed by the Act, the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA). This award may be awarded to one or more firms. Term of Contract: The original contract term shall be one (1) year from date of award. The City reserves the right to cancel and terminate this Contract, without penalty, upon ten (10) days written notice to contractor. This contract may be renewed for: one (1) twelve (12) month period.
