Elevator preventative maintenance and repair services

The purpose of this ITB is to solicit bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, equipment, parts, supplies, tools, transportation and materials necessary to provide full service guaranteed maintenance which includes all labor and materials for providing preventative maintenance, scheduled repairs, emergency repairs, and other on-demand related services for all elevator systems at various City properties listed herein. The City of Winchester reserves the right to add, modify or delete from this list at any time during the original term and any subsequent renewals without penalty or default. This Invitation to Bid (ITB), plus the resulting agreement, shall be consistent with, and governed by the Act, the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA). Pre-Bid Conference: A pre-bid conference will not be held. Contract Term: The contract term shall be a period of five (5) years from the date of award. The City reserves the right to cancel and terminate this Contract, without penalty, upon ten (10) days written notice to contractor. The parties understand and agree that the City, at its sole option, may renew this Contract for: two (2) additional two (2) year periods.
