On-call materials and construction testing services

Purpose: The City of Winchester is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide labor, materials, equipment, transportation and quality control and management for on-call materials and construction related testing services, geotechnical sampling and engineering, and surveying services to the City of Winchester for various capital improvement projects. The types of construction projects will include, but are not limited to the following: Water treatment plant and dam rehabilitation improvements Wastewater treatment plant improvements Water distribution system improvements Sanitary sewer collection system improvements Sanitary sewer lift station improvements Storm drainage system improvements Roadway improvements Traffic related improvements Building improvements This Request for Proposal (RFP), plus the resulting agreement, shall be consistent with, and governed by the Act, the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA). This award may be awarded to one or more firms. Term of Contract: The original contract term shall be five (5) years from date of award. The City reserves the right to cancel and terminate this Contract, without penalty, upon ten (10) days written notice to contractor. This contract may be renewed for: Five (5) twelve (12) month period.
