Switch gear testing, maintenance and repairs

The purpose of this ITB is to solicit bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, equipment, parts, supplies, tools, transportation and materials necessary to provide switch gear testing, maintenance, repairs and related services for the City of Winchester per the specifications herein. The City of Winchester reserves the right to add, modify or delete from this list at any time during the original term and any subsequent renewals without penalty or default. This Invitation to Bid (ITB), plus the resulting agreement, shall be consistent with, and governed by the Act, the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA). Pre-Bid Conference: A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the time and location on the date indicated herein. Prospective Respondents are encouraged to attend. Contract Term: The contract term shall be a period of five (5) years from the date of award. The City reserves the right to cancel and terminate this Contract, without penalty, upon ten (10) days written notice to contractor. The parties understand and agree that the City, at its sole option, may renew this Contract for: five (5) additional one (1) year periods.
