Citywide 2-inch mill and overlay paving project

Solicitation #240010229. Issued by Public Works. The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of the 2 Inch Mill and Overlay Paving project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to perform a citywide 2”inch mill and overlay paving program. This work will include up to a 2” inch milling and overlay with 2” inches of VDOT approved SM-12.5D with a minimum Asphalt Content of 5.8% and with 2.1 ounces of Aramid Fibers in some Mixes, including utility adjustments, sweep cleaning and all necessary preparation and finish work including but are not limited to patching, restoration (when needed), sidewalk repair, handicap ramps, pavement marking, etc. Contracts will be awarded based on funding being appropriated by the City’s approved 2025 Budget. The Contractor can reserve the right to an increase based on VDOT’s Fuel and asphalt price adjustment indices at time of renewal. The contractor will be compensated for Mobilization and Traffic control based on the total square yard of work performed by contractor.
