Citywide curbside recycling collection and processing services

Solicitation #10414-0-2024. Issued by Public Works. The City is soliciting bids from qualified contractors interested in providing all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and facilities for collection, transportation, and processing of residential and small business curbside recycling materials; development and monitoring of programs to increase tonnage and reduce contamination of recyclable materials; and for increasing customer participation through education efforts in the City’s recycling services. This solicitation may be awarded separately for the collection and hauling component and the sorting and processing component. Bidders may submit bids for either of the components, or for both. The award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder(s) meeting the Minimum Qualification Requirements (see Section II, paragraph H of this solicitation) and providing the combined lowest price for the collection and hauling (excluding the optional service) and the sorting and processing components. In an event of two awards, the Contractor awarded the sorting and processing component shall receive the materials from the Contractor awarded the collection and hauling component. All qualified bidders are invited to respond to this Invitation for Bids (“IFB”) by submitting a bid consistent with the terms, conditions, and specifications stated herein.
