Solicitation #10126-R-2024. Issued by Transit. The City of Norfolk (the “City”) is striving to be a multi-modal friendly city for all levels of riders with multiple transit options. The City is soliciting proposals from qualified offerors interested in providing a financially self-sustaining automated on-demand electric bicycle and stand-up type electric scooter sharing system ("System"). The purpose of this solicitation is to select an offeror to implement, maintain, operate, and market the System within the City. The ideal program will incorporate information technology to operate a fleet of shared bikes and scooters which may be checked out from one sharing station or area and returned to another in a network of stations or areas.
