Official description
Solicitation #RFP 11113-0-2026 JF. Issued by Human Services. The City of Norfolk (the “City”) Department of Human Services (DHS) seeks qualified vendors to provide Chore Services for residents sixty (60) years of age or older or any person eighteen (18) years of age or older who is incapacitated. Through these services, the City seeks to help adults remain safe in their homes, to maintain self-sufficiency. The City aims to prevent inappropriate institutionalization when these adults are unable to perform heavy home maintenance tasks and have no one available to provide these services without cost. The City anticipates multiple contract awards to qualified offerors, each for a five (5) year term.
