Pump rental services for dewatering and related projects

Solicitation #IFB 10916-0-2026 JF. Issued by Public Works. The City is seeking responsible contractors to provide Pump Rental Services on an as-needed basis according to the terms, conditions, and specifications of this Invitation for Bids (“IFB”). The agreement resulting from this IFB shall be for a five (5) year period. The agreement resulting from this IFB will be awarded to two contractors: a Primary Contractor, the lowest bidder, and a Secondary Contractor, the second lowest bidder. The Primary Contractor will be responsible for performing all tasks specified herein and will be the primary Contractor for Pump Rental Services. The secondary Contractor may be engaged in the following situations: If the Primary Contractor is unable to provide rental services of equipment for the primary use of dewatering and related projects within the timeframe specified by the City; If the City deems the rates submitted by the Primary Contractor for rental services of equipment unreasonable in regard to price, timeframe; If the Primary Contractor is not fulfilling its obligations under this agreement; or To obtain more competitive rates for larger assignments.

The City retains the right to request rates for rental services of equipment from both the Primary and the Secondary Contractors and award the project to the contractor that offers the lowest price and an acceptable solution, or to obtain services for work not covered in this solicitation separately. All qualified bidders are invited to respond to this IFB by submitting a bid consistent with the terms, conditions, and specifications stated herein.
